Life Membership

Honorary Life Membership is conferred on very few Guild members who have made extraordinary contributions to further the goals of the Guild. Honorary Life Members are encouraged to be ambassadors within the industry for the Guild. They may be encouraged to help start new chapters, visit existing chapters and help out at conventions and workshops. There shall be no more than two honorary life memberships bestowed per year. Members of the NGPP are eligible when they reach retirement age, have been a member for a minimum of ten years and have been active in either the local chapter level and/or at the national level. The National Board of Directors will be presented a written petition requesting the status of Life Membership be bestowed. The Board will then vote on the acceptance of that petition. The Life Membership is generally presented at the National Paperhanger’s Convention & Tradeshow following the Board’s acceptance of Life Membership status. As of January 1, 2011, there are 16 Honorary Life Memberships.
