I have never hung paper with a selage edge. Do I trim both sides then butt edges or double cut? Also, are there any rules about hanging A and B panels?

I prefer double cutting, but that's just me. I've never been able to wet-trim a decent edge on the table, and forget about dry-trimming a Scalamndre. You won't recognize the edge after you paste it. Here's a link to a page I put up a few years back that shows the basics of doublecutting a hand print.

As far as the A and B panels goes, cut and hang one sheet, and then hold the bolt up next to the sheet that you just hung. Line up the pattern, and then cut your sheet out of the bolt. If you're not very experienced, you may accidentally precut the whole room incorrectly, and that would be a very expensive mistake. Take your time. Good luck.

This will all change by Wed., Sep. 14th, 5PM (The end of the Table Trimming segment of the NGPP's Wallcovering 202 class).
But I do like your double cut method, it certainly has it's place. And your presentation on your website is top-notch. I look forward to the "Double Cutting" segment in a future 202 class.

Well hell, Murph, now that I'm back in Jersey reading this, I'm wondering why neither of us thought to demonstrate it in some of the spare time we had in the demo rooms! Oh, well -- it'll have to wait 'til St. Louis.
Enjoyed your company, my friend, and thanks for the trimming tips..
