I am a professional mural artist and am looking at possibly painting a mural off site on Flexi Wall, or canvas, and having it installed. Anyone ever installed Flexi wall before as I have never used it? I would have to have a seam horizontally across the middle as the mural is 27ft by 8ft. If you have installed this product are there any downsides to using it? Also I can't locate an installer anywhere near the job site, which is Moses Lake, Washington. Are there any out there? Contact me if you know anyone who might be able to do the job, I have to give a budget for installation and have no idea if I can get anyone to do it or how much it will cost. Its up on scaffolding if that helps..

Cliff Hayes, the other moderator, has hung a lot of Flexiwall, I do believe. Hopefully, he will chime in soon with an opinion.
To find a hanger, follow the link below, and enter your zipcode, or the jobsite zipcode, and it will list the NGPP hangers in the area. If none are close, post back and we can find someone usually.

Thanks for your help but none of these are within 100 miles of where I want to be. I guess I'll have to phone around to see if anyone knows someone who can do it, unless you have other suggestions?

Muriel, contact our Western Region Director, Phil Ostler: p.ostler@comcast.net, to see if he can find someone for you. Let me know how the search turns out.
I think using the Flexi-wall is a nifty idea, but I don't know how it would react to the painted surface being rolled back up and shipped. Canvas would do fine. The Flexi would give a smoother look, but would be permanent installation.

If you are unable to find an installer in you area please contact me. I often fly to install both hand painted murals and digital printed murals for the artists or the print companys who produce them . I main thing is you find a installer that has experience working with large murals.
