I'm putting up grasscloth in a large foyer. There is a large chair-rail going up the stairs and also in the downstairs area which I'm cutting the paper to. Question is this - you guys ever put a little bead of clear caulk along here maybe to hold down some of those little tiny pieces of stuff (I can't think of what to call those things, but I know you know what I mean!), or is that to hard with the grasscloth?

I never have but you could. It would hide the natural beauty of thr grass but if they have BAD kids pulling at it, then go ahead. :llama:

Yes Chris, these people do have kids, so I think I'll try the clear on a little piece somewhere. It always amazes me when people with little kids pick such beautiful and expensive wallcovering, but hey, it's there house!

What amazes me is that these people have NO control over their children, no disapline what so ever. When we re did our basement 19 years ago we made a room for our yet to be born son. When he was old enough to understad,we said this is your room and you can write on the walls with your crayons, pens, penciles, paint, etc. Right now,he will be 18 next week, there is not a mark on the walls.
