Jean,

Chris is right.

Call the paperhanger back to correct the problem or get another paperhanger.

Before you do make sure you have more of the same run # paper. Assuming you have 8' ceilings, and 4 corners with the problem, and if the paper is 20 1/2" wide with a small pattern repeat then you may only need a double roll; ifs its a large repeat or its 27" wide then you will need 2 double rolls.

With 20 1/2" paper and a "small" pattern you can often get 4 sheets 8' foot long (if its a large pattern you may only get 3 sheets 8' long. With 27" paper you only get 3 sheets 8' long.

To affect this repair your paperhanger is going to need to remove one side of the existing papered corner. Leave the other side up but loosen it slightly1/2" from that inside corner. Paste an entire new sheet. Measure width from seam to inside corner at 3 points on the wall (top, middle, bottom) for the sheet removed. Use the widest dimension and add 1/4" then split the (pasted and booked sheet) with a straight edge and a razor. Butt the splt sheet up to the seam and wrap the excess around the inside corner. Repaste the loosened sheet on opposite corner and smooth down.

Best of luck,

Clearpaste
