We'll be glad to have you Rusty. I just joined back in August and it's been great going to my chapter meetings and getting to know other hangers. I've been at it for 22 years now, and I never tried to meet other people in the business in all that time. I could've been so much further ahead if I'd joined sooner. I guess I'm a Warshaw warrior as well, sort of. The guy who trained me, in kind of an apprenticeship, was a US School grad, so I feel like I had good training. We'll even teach you the secret handshake:banana:

Welcome, Rusty! Glad to see you join up. Check out the Wallcoverings Academy post in the "Other Wallpaper Related Questions" section; was Brad Bender an instructor at the USSPP when you were there, too?

Rusty, I spoke with the Regional Director, Cyndi Green, of what we call the Depp South Region, which includes Texas. She's in New Orleans right now, taking 'relief' supplies to our 4 hangers in that area: donated tools, coupons & supplies from vendors, and cash. She fully packed her van with the stuff!
Anyways, I told her you were about to join, and the little bit I know about you from our back-and-forth e-mails of a year ago. Please send her a 'hello' and introduce yourself- she's busy and it'll be easier for her to catch up with you if you contact her: (318) 343-7466, cgpaper@aol.com

Yes, Michael Montaigne (I think!). Michael was a 'regular guy,' and a good teacher; Brad was a more patient person and still teaches, art for a public school system.
Again, welcome, and yes please, show us some pic's. When you're a member you will gain access to a "members only" section of this forum, and we have a Photo Forum there.
