I once seen a Lady coloring wallpaper seams with a color pencil. She used it after the wallpaper dried, to fill in any spaces between the seam. Does anyone use this technique? If so, do you use lead color pencils or Water color pencils? Thank you, Rock

Pencils are hit or miss, mostly miss, for many reasons. If you need to make a seam gap disappear, you'd do better to have a quart of flat paint mixed to the color of the wallpaper. Most decent paint stores can computer-match a scrap of wallpaper to the exact shade. Use an artist's brush to fill the gap with the paint, and then use a damp rag to wipe off the excess paint from the face of the paper. Pour a little bit of the paint into a paper cup, and stir in two or three drops of water. Thinning the paint will help it to flow into the edges of the paper. If you find that it's too opaque to do the job, then you can go back to using the unthinned paint straight from the can.
