Can wallpaper be installed over laminate?

I would like to install wallpaper over my laminate backsplash in kitchen? What kind of preparation is required or can it be done? Sanding? Sizing?

Try a product called R-35 from Romans. It's a sticky primer that will adhere to just about anything. I hung a very high end Brunschwig paper in a laundry room recently, and they wanted a small formica backsplash covered. I wasn't sure it would stick but it did. All Pro also sells the same stuff, made for them by Romans, and it's called 670. This may be difficult to find, depending on where you live, so you may have to do some searching. I've also papered over glass after priming with this product so it seems like the problem solver for shiny surfaces.

I use Shur Stik 222 or 221 sizing for all gloss paint and on glass. Some clients want the mirror on the medicine cabnet papered and 222 works real well. 222 size is clear and 221 is white. I buy it Osh stores.
