Ok so here goes, this is a question you might not get every day, but I am wanting to wallpaper the inside of my car, and was wondering what type of wallpaper to use, and which adhesive would work best?

Whoa, buddy- there's a lot to that seemingly simple question. Let's start with this: wallpaper is not meant for the inside of a car; the inside of a car is not meant for wallpaper. So just what surface in the car are you wanting to cover?

Yea, sorry, should have put more info on there. Must of sound a wee bit crazy. I have been reconditioning my car, and I have had this wallpaper in my house, which I really like, and was wanting to put it on the inside of the car. Not on the windows or seats or anything crazy like that.

I had a '68 VW van back in the '70's that I wallpapered. It was a plaid pattern paper-back vinyl that I put on with VOV. The interior panels were flat, and II unscrewed them all, papered them and screwed them back on. The toughest part was getting that plaid to line up. It held up OK in most places, the drivers door showed the most wear. My wife made matching curtains from the fabric!
You're going to have a much tougher time with the curved panels of todays car interiors. I don't think a standard wallpaper lends itself to this project.

maybe a fabric with spray adhesive would be a better choice???

I don't know--sounds a little crazy to me, but I seen crazier things on and in automobiles.

Ok, so I have given it a try, I don't think that wallpaper paste is the way to go. Have covered the car now with torn paper and lumpy glue... The attempt on the internal roof of the car was a disaster.
However, the dash board looks great :) And I think the steering wheel will be great, I had to use super glue for that.
Any ideas on how to keep the paper on the roof?
