Hello people. Muffy from India again. I have got a complain. Its been a long time since i posted my last query regarding the two companies Designtex and MDC but i havent got any reply as yet from any member. Why guys????

Please be kind and help me get more info on international wallcovering companies. Both these companies are from your country and i am sure you guys must have used them a lot. Would really appreciate if i could get some professional advice on them.
Regarding my question please refer to my earlier post titled 'Whos product is better?' and reply soon.

Waiting......

Muffy,
My guess is that these companies are favorably comparable to one another.I have dealt with MDC in the past and they were fine. If my memory serves me well, commercial goods are their specialty ,which means they have a variety of weights and grades.Contact both for samples and make a judgment for yourself based on their response and their samples.

In my humble opinion, Wolf-Gordon distributes goods of a consistently high-quality nature, and I would turn to them first before I would use Designtex (formerly JM Lynne) or MDC. The three compaines are distributors, not manufacturers, of wallcovering, and since nearly all of the commercial wallcovering in this country comes out of about six mills, you're not likely to notice a huge difference in quality among the distributors. Having said that, it's been my experience that Wolf-Gordon's materials are consistently top-notch in quality, appearance, and ease of installation. Perhaps they're more selective about the patterns that they choose to sell or the materials that they specify. www.wolf-gordon.com
