View Full Version : pasting machines - where to buy used
I would like to buy a used pasting machine. Anyone have ideas of where to buy, what brand, what to avoid, etc.? Thanks.

You can find decent machines on eBay from time to time.
What type of work do you plan on using it for - commercial or residential?
Prepasted goods, or unpasted/untrimmed, etc.

I have two used machines available. A Ramco 30" with counter, and an Advance Pastewell 30". I used the Ramco for unpasted paper since it is a gear drive machine, and I used the Advance for pre-pasted. Both machines have been well maintained and are available at the incredible 2fer price of $400 + shipping.

or how about a used Tapo 29" the Mercedes of pasting machines ? this is their older model with the flat bottom. A great machine, especially to start.
Email backchannel if you are interested.

How much and what about shipping? I don't know what email backchannel means, sorry.

Kate, click the users name and it will give you the option to send a private message. Back channel is a term used for a message or email off the board, meant for their eyes only. I just shipped a machine and it was $70 plus $10 for a box big enough to properly hold it with the necessary padding. I didn't shop around much as I was busy and had to get it out to the buyer. Give or take a few bucks, that's about what you'll expect to pay.
