One of my designers is planning on using Vahallan Papers in a
Decorator's Showcase home in a couple months. She wants the 'torn'
application. This stuff appears to be very easy to install - tell me if
I'm mistaken. My question; How long does it take to install compared to
standard paper? I price standard wallcovering by the square foot - one
price for easy areas like bed rooms, and a higher price for the more
time consuming areas. I'm not looking for your dollar amount, just a
time comparison. I will devise a 'standard' price and give her a hefty
discount for the Showcase. We gotta take care of those who take care of
us.

Gary,

I have done several Vahallan installations. I love working with it and can give you some tips on how to install for the most pleasing look. Regarding the installation time I would say that it takes roughly about 60% more time because each piece must be treated individually and they cover so much less area than a traditional strip. That is a rough number but should be workable.

Thanks Dave, that helps tremendously. I'll pick your brain while we are in New Orleans.
