How about a picture or price?
Contact info? Etc.
These would help.

I'm interested. Got a price? a picture? Those aren't made anymore, and they are the only applicator that can lay down a thin layer of the 'traditional' pastes: wheat, etc.

I know what a ten-knot prime is, I know what one looks like; I want to see the one for sale.
What the puck are you keeping an unused one around for? Saving for retirement?

Point being, there isn't one for sale. The original poster wants to buy one.

Check! And don't pay any mind to the name on it, just send the brush.

That would be it. Best Liebco stopped making it a loooong time ago. Reason being... first contact with them, the little old guy that made them died. 2nd contact: they could no longer get the special rain forest wood needed.
Lot of useless info. I did get the main retailer for the brush from them. Turned out to be Sipersteins in New Jersey, Right in my own backyard. Had done work for Herb Siperstein, thought I might have a shot... No luck there either.
Thanks for the responses. Sorry about the WTB misslead. Regards..

Thanks for the posts Dennis. Sorry I can't sell my brush - it is now a collectors item.
Best Liebco probably stopped making them because of slow sales and high labor costs. Years ago, I spoke with a rep at one of the NGPP trade shows about this brush, and his response was that they may try to bring it back, but I suspect that was just talk on his part.
By the way, we have some great chapters in and around New Jersey. We can hook you up with them if you wish.

Thanks for the invite, may take you up. Tend to be a loner, and real PITA.(pain in the A--) What else would I be, I'm a paperhanger!!
Quick story about the brush. About a dozen years ago, I walked into a Sipersteins for some paste and things. As I approached the counter, I noticed on their pegboard a, you guessed it, 10 knotter. Said to the guy, wow haven't seem one of those in awhile. His response was, what is it? Said he found it in the basement and put it up to get rid of it.
I was kind of in a hurry, and naturally, my brush was fine, so I didn't think anything of it. Don't you know within a months time my brush, 20 years old from my father who had it as long as I remember, finally gave out. That's when I found out liebco stopped making it.
Ahh, but smart me knew where to get one. Called them and of course, it was gone. It wasn't bad enough that i was an idiot for not buying it when I had a chance, but to have the guy at the store tell me he sold it to some guy in California to use as a faux brush. A FAUX BRUSH!!!!. Tell me anything but that.
The rest, as they say, is history. So, I'm always looking. Sorry, guess it wasn't such a quick story.... Dennis

You sound like just about every other paperhanger I know.:D
I got my brush for free about 10 years age. I was serving a term as Columbus chapter president, and as such, I asked Sherwin Williams to host a chapter meeting. They offered a table full of stuff that wasn't selling as door prises - there were four Ten Knot Primes in the lot. I exercise executive privilege and claimed one.
How's that for a Guild benefit?
