I need to find a canvas paintable liner. Already contacted Cavalier, waiting to hear back, since I couldn't locate it on their website.... Does anyone have a source? Must be the canvas, it's an old mansion that has been lined and painted. Client wants to replace some that has mildew under, and nonwoven liner would not match. Thanks!

I want to let y'all know how great Cavalier is........ in the time it took me to post this, Cavalier already responded to my inquiry! Unfortunately, they don't carry the canvas liner, so please let me know of any other sources. Congrats to Cavalier wall liner co. !!!!!!!

Try HTTP//lakearts.com in Flowery Branch,Ga.they sell all types of canvas . Artists that I have worked with are very pleased with their service.

Thanks on that source as well. Sherwin Williams can get a Warner liner, I am getting a sample to see if it matches the existing...

When I need something like that I check with the local art supply store. Even if they don't have what you want they can steer you to the proper source.

Another source is Rosebrand: http://rosebrand.com (http://rosebrand.com/) They have many weights, and you can get very wide material, so that you can go corner-to-corner with one piece. Get widths at least 10% bigger than the height of the wall (and 10% longer, too).
The painted canvas (or muslin) on a wall is a nice look. Originally, I think it was added protection against cracks in plaster, but it adds a texture too. I've been in houses where the canvas was the only thing holding the plaster up.

Thank you all for the input. My Warner sample came in today - too late to get to SW, by tomorrow I'll know if I'm in the ballpark.... if not, I'm sure with all of your suggestions, I'll find something close to the match!
