Hi-

I have an 82 year old client whose home we are remodeling. She wants to keep the same wallpaper she currently has in her bedroom. The paper was installed about 40 years ago but she claims she's seen it as recently as 7 years ago while shopping. What is the best way to go about finding a pattern that you don't know ANYTHING about other than what it looks like?

Any help is appreciated!

Alyssa,

You did the right thing by posting a picture here.

I remember hanging this in 1999. In a different colorway. Just for your confirmation, here's a picture of a piece I have on file
915

My records indicate Brunschwig et Fils # 492.6 "Thrise". If my memory is correct the homeowner ordered it specially printed in this color
If I were you I would call a B&F showroom (in my experience Boston has been more cooperative than NYC) and ask if this is available

Thanks Guy,

But "organized" is not a word oft used for my habit of holding on to things. Recognizing this pattern was a lucky happenstance in that this hang will long be branded in my memory ..... in a good way, mostly. Finding the job folder was easy.

I'm not saving samples as much as I used to, I've run out of room. Perhaps pictures would be good, just for reference such as this.
