I think we put our money together and invite and pay for Nate to attend our Paperhanger Convention in 2009. Go ahead and pay for Oprah to attend while we are at it. The Vendors can help. This will be their form of advertising budget!
Act on it now right after this repeat show of hers, featuring the positive aspect of wallcovering.
Let's go on this. What do you think?

A Date with Nate at the conventions would be great for the Guild.
Designers have the power of influence for this industry. Great idea.

I was thinking that if desgners could see the Winning Walls Entries, that would be great!

I agree with you both.
I have been saying about the past conventions, if the designers could see the on point grasscloth or the hering bone grasscloth and so many more different wall covering ideas along with the WWWW contest they would be very impressed.
Just my opinion.
Thanks,

Great minds think alike. With our upcoming adventure that will be "aired" at the convention, Cyndi is working on a portion of making contact with Nate. I am sure she reads this bb and will take this great suggestion and hopefully make it all work. e

I just saw this post and you guys are right. This is a great idea. I had been trying to contact Candice Olsen for quite some time now, since she is from Canada. She is also a great supporter of wallpaper, but I haven't had any luck there as yet. I then started on trying to get a response from Nate. I have not heard back anything yet, but I'm working on a second contact. I'll let you know. I also mentioned in the letter that we would even love to be a part of any charity project they might have. Any form of working together with someone like Nate would be so beneficial. I'll let you know when I get a response.

You might want to try Sarah Richardson (several shows on HGTV Canada) She and her assistants use paper on almost every show.
