I hung about 15 different Phillip Jeffries patterns in their showroom in Fairfield NJ last September. I'm going there soon for tea and crumpets at the unveiling for all the designers. (Don't ask me what took them so long.)
Do you have any complaints, suggestions, problems or comments about any of their products? Keep replies clean of curse words and I will print them out and dump them on their desk.
Thanks, and have a smurfy day.

Like most of us PITA hangers, seems I'm always complaining about all the crap we're sent to hang.
I have to say, don't think I've had issue with Jeffries. Very local for me, designers use them alot, and seems weaves and such are making a nice comeback lately. (hope I don't regret saying that. Going to hang one of their cloth backed weaves)

Ditto what the others have said. I've never had any issues and enjoy installing them. I think quality control would appreciate this thread...

Hello Jim, keep up the good work.
I do not think they are a member? If so regard the next question. Any chance of that happening?
I also like the quality of their goods and hope to see more in the near future
Companies like this are always good for our organization to feed off of and learn from.
Thanks again Jim,

I went to that gathering and told them that everybody who replied here seemed to be happy with PJ. Personally I have found most of their products to be of high quality. I have been doing some product testing for them for products that have shown some problems in the field, but usually those problems are caused by bad technique rather than by the material.
Vincent, talk to Alan Rada about the NGPP and PJ apparently he already has contacted Jeffrey there.
On a side note RE: superior quality: Yesterday I hung a Donghia "wet look" super shiny PBV (Ebb and Flow from their Lacquer Collection.) Not only was the stuff perfect in terms of zero edge curl (unlike the original wet looks of the 1970's) it had a clear plastic protective sheath covering everwhere....sort of like the stuff they attach to new stainless steel refrigerators and dishwashers. You hang it and you can leave paste and waterdrops all over it. When the room is complete you pull off the clear plastic protection in a minute or two. Bravissimo Donghia.
Bill, you have yourself another smurfy day.

The Phillip Jeffries website (http://www.phillipjeffries.com) doesn't seem to list any customer reviews or testimonials, but it sounds like from this thread that everyone is happy with them and they are high quality...
Does everyone agree with that and recommend them, or are there any "dissenters"? Thanks! Steve, aka "Mr Trade Show (http://www.pinnacledisplays.com/)"

I've had quality-control issues with two different embroidered materials from them. Both times, the service was excellent; new goods were shipped out immediately, from different lots. One was the emboidered Eliana, and the other was an embroidered grasscloth. The issue in both of them was that the lamination wasn't totally tight near the embroidery. Jeff himself called me to discuss a resolution to the grasscloth job, which involved over $8,000 in materials. They were extremely professional.

hi Cliff,
Thanks. Very few companies are perfect, so the question becomes how do they handle their mistakes. Sounds like Phillip Jeffries handles them well.

Hi Jim and everyone!
I just hung over 15 new phillip Jeffries wallcovering in their High Point Show Room.
All of their products hung fine. I would like to suggest that you play a lot with that
" Lacquered Strie" . It is a heavy weight vinyl , with a high gloss , and is hard to trim.
Make sure you have your heat gun handy. Yes, Jim you are doing the NGPP a great
service , sharing your test hanging research with the Guild. When their is a problem
with any manufacturers products, it is nice to find that out early on and know for sure
the best technique neccesarry. Have a great Day to all.

" Lacquered Strie" I hung this material that look like patten leather alligator. After you take the film off and try and wipe, it is almost impossible to get it streak less. It does not wrap well and I had to do a lot of touch up with black paint.
Did you say or mention the problems had by all with the JP Square?
