Hi. My name is Lee Epstein. I am President of the Metro/New York Chapter. This past April my chapter lost our Vice President to Lymphoma. Jeff Singer was extremely dedicated to our chapter and the business. We held an auction of some of Jeff's tools and raised $749 for his family. This money came from the auction and donations from our chapter, Westchester chapter members in attendence and Elsie Kaptina. We auctioned off a 30 inch paste well donated by Alan Rada. Our new Vice President, Mike Giordano won the auction and immediately donated it back to be auctioned off again. Well we just auctioned that paste well on this website. Jim Seymour of Pennsylvania won that auction. Jim called to find out where to mail the check and who to make it out to. He then said he also doesn't want the machine he just wants to make the donation. At this point in time the runner up is being contacted to see if he still wants the machine at his second best bid. This also is to be donated to Helane Singer. Otherwise he asked it be raffled off at the Convention in Niagara, with the proceeds to go to Mrs. Singer. I want to say how overwhelmed I am with the caring of everyone in this organization. I just want the people on the outside to see what this organization is all about. Brotherhood.
