Happy Birthday, Jim. Was it on the 4th? That's my husbands B-day as well. Gotta like those November guys, I've kept mine for 35 years. Hope you had a great day!!

A belated thanks. Since my birthday was November 3rd you can tell how much time I have been spending on this board. What have I been doing? (Hey parodi, what do you think this is...Twitter?) For a large chunk of time I have been arguing with Bill Archibald about the contents of the new NGPP website coming to a monitor near you in a couple of months. Bill is doing a sterling job BTW...but don't tell him I said so. Also NGPP volunteers are going through reams of old materials to update the information in old tech articles. We still need volunteers BTW.

"Arguing" ???

no no no. It's called: exchanging ideas, brainstorming, developing strategies. Hell, those who know us know how we ain't opinionated NOR stubborn :roflmao: :roflmao:

The end results are gonna be pretty darn good. And as Jim says, we are always looking for some volunteers. We have some material offered on the main website that needs updating

Bill, don't we need a "links czar?" Anyone want to volunteer? The problem: For years we have been adding links to companies that may benefit members. But we kept piling on link after link never going back to the bottom of the pile to make sure the links were still good. Some companies changed their web addresses, some went out of business, et cetera.

Not presuming to speak for Bill Archibald, I also want the "links policy" to be to scrap any link to any company that will not link back to the NGPP. Call me a hardasss, but I want a teat for tat. This is known as reciprocal linking and it is about time we put this out as a policy. Anyone want to step up and rebuild our link farm from scratch? Experience is not required and you will be making the exact same pay as Bill Archibald and myself.

Is there not software just for searching out broken links?
