Welcome John.

Gary's a good man. He offered me some great insights to Tmourous Beaties that made an install of "Iguana" a breeze.

Hello and welcome to our forum(s), please spread the word about us.

We are the only organziation in the World dedicated to wall covering installations or sticking as you say.

We have members from all over the World and we like to share our ideas with each other.

We have members that range from England, Ireand, South Africa, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Canada and the U.S.and speading fast in others countries!

My name is Vincent J. LaRusso from New York and I am the International membership chairperson as well as the 2nd National Vice-President and an installer for over 30 years.

I can only speak for myself on behalf of the NGPP and what it has done for my business, the tricks, tools, knowledge I have received since joining over 9 years ago and is overwhelming to say the least.

I have a better understanding/relationship from our manufactures, many of which are members, when it comes to asking questions about a paper or product of there's.

In order to have our World understand the meaning of wallpaper installations, done by a professional we need people like you, to share, spead and talk about what we do.

Not sure how it works in your field, but over here (in the U.S.) it can get lost in who it is that is a professional in installing wallpaper, most think anyone can do it, not true, unfortunatly money talks and there lies the problem.

We need to educate the consumer/public that we are a profession and take pride in what we do.

Sorry for going on, but I hope you will join us in our journey to make wallpaper a beautiful art that it has been for over 400 years and continue to stay on course.

Thanks and have a great day,

Vincent J. LaRusso

i will certainly pass the message on.
vincent i think we have the same here. theres a lot of chancers who dont know what they are doing, eventually people like my self and gary pic up the peaces and get asked to put jobs right. after that you have a client for life!!
i was reading some bodies post about trimming on glass, cant say ive heared of that before but willing to give it a go.
ordered a couple of 3 meter tables before christmas, one turned up damaged so sent it back, still waiting for the replacement. they look fab though.
also bought in to the olaf knife and blade system just before christmas

H i John,

Welcome to the NGPP Bulletin Board. As you have already seen, a lot of professional installers come here to gain knowledge and hone their skills. There is a wealth of good information available in the archives of the site, and always a helping hand available to answer current questions.

Hope to see you here often.

Okay, so I did this a little backwards; I have posted to this forum a few times before and I have been reading parts of it for a while, but just found this thread. I must admit I have used all of your expertise without your knowledge. For that I thank you all. My name is Ted and I have been hanging for 27 years. I currently reside in near Orlando fl. I sent for my packet yesterday and hope to be a member soon. I am looking forward to getting to know all you guys better.

Hi Jeff

i was working in Bexleyheath on thursday. hanging some very nice william morris would have been an easy job if the first roll didnt have a fault in it so some patch work was required to finish the job.
client happy at the end of it
