Any paperhangers have experince with installing a product
called Lock-fast, its a fabric wallcovering 62" wide.Their
instructions suggest using a water-based contact adhisive.
This wallcovering has no backing.Pre-mixed adhisives would
likely soak through. If you know of a water-based contact
adhisive, please help point me in the right direction.

3M makes a water based contact - it's green - but I would imagine your material could be hung with a clay or HD clear if you paste the wall and let it tack up. With a contact you will have a tough time with your seams. You wouldn't be able to reposition or doublecut. Where is the material going - on a wall requiring multiple drops? And how heavy is the material? What is it exactly?

This wallcovering is going to be installed on drywall in an office
multipule drops, around 36 yds. Can't really describe this product
without actually you having it in hands.Found manufacture on-line
at Lockfast.com, same info about installing that I already have.
There are pictures of their products.Guess I'll call their tech-line.

I looked at the site and it looks much like regular acoustic fabric. Which pattern do you have, do you know? I still think you could probably use Dynamite 111, rolled on the wall heavily and tacked up a bit, but if you want to use heavier, some of the waterbased carpet adhesives aren't bad. Mapei Eco is a common brand here. Dont get it on the face, and if you have a ribbed product you can use a carpet laying tool called a row cutter to trim between ribs ahead of time and butt on the wall.

A couple years back in Las Vegas at the annual convention I think Walter Green did a demo on wall carpet and used a Durabond brand adhesive and a 3M citrus spray product for clean up. Maybe check with him.
