I posted a longer THANK YOU under the Wallpaper Emergency thread but I just wanted to make sure that you all knew how grateful I was for the help and advice during my "wallpaper crisis".
Our bathroom is pretty much back to normal in spite of a few surprises. Our painter not only had to repair my handiwork but also learned that the original owners of this house wallpapered the bathroom BEFORE they put up any of the door or window mouldings! I'm no expert but that sure doesn't sound right and he wasn't too happy to discover that, either...
But everything is okay now. Our painter, a very decent guy, had seen worse...which was a relief, right there. I'm glad I'm not the only person capable of inflicting that kind of harm to a wall.
