thanks cliff- a few months back we discussed getting a 62' machine. I was in a hurry so a friend lent me his pull box to do the job at hand. I got the job finished but i will NEVER buy a pull box. You suggested a ramco 62... This was an excellent choice.

I did decide to get the RAMCO 62 TABLETOP model. The price was about 800. It works absoutley great. It sits on top of my regular pasting table that i use for my 29" ramco pastmaster jr for my residentual work. You and i were worried about having to build a table for the machine that may cost as much as the complete unit but this wasn t the case. I cant roll it around the job as i could with a complete unit, but for me that isnt a problem.

As near as i can tell the tabletop model is the same as the regular 62 except for the one top roller tnat you dont since your bolt is sitting on the table and not under or in front you it.

I knew how well my 29 worked but i was shocked at how well the 62 worked . It was like driving an automatic and the pull box would be a straight shift. with out power sterring.

Do not be afraid to recomment the tabletop to any one not needing to move around on the job.

thanks again cliff and to anyone else that in interested in a paste machine , ramco is the only way to go.

i live in norht carolina and will be glad to demo anytime. 29 or 62

If you want to show off your machine, bring it to Greenville,SC April 23. Contact Danny Murdock, who's heading the Workshop: dannymurdock@charter.net, and tell him I sent you.

Glad it worked out for you, Flash. Where does the bolt sit on the tabletop model?
