I have to go look at a job Monday morning, and
the client wants some dry-erase wallcovering installed.
I know I have heard talk of this stuff before, but
would like any input on it before I have the meeting.

Was it hard to install and how was it successfully done?
Any brands better than others?
Etc. etc. any info is appreciated.

TIA

Hey Tim;

Not sure, but I think Dupont my make some of this. Had a call from CommScope once, wanted a conf. room and a hallway? (I didn't want to ask). Their timeframe for completion was short, so I couldn't do it. Had the guy read me directions that he had over the phone. Said dry hang and double cut, using a premium HD adhesive, like comm. vinyl. I know this stuff offers Absolutely NO breathability, so I would think clay size, dry, paste, let tack up real good and apply? Not sure on the backing wether paper or cloth. Hey, you can even sign your work, kinda like an artist!

Hey Tim,
This reminds me of an Environmental Graphics mural of the US that I did last summer...customer was a pilot, living on a community run way, everyone owning their own plane. He wanted to keep track of everywhere they flew....so a map that they could mark up and erase later was just what they wanted.
At any rate, it hung like a breeze using an acrylic emulsion primer and straight 880...no problems.:llama: :carrot: :disco: :banana: :cool:
.............(these little guys are cool!)

ps...just a spring and a summer left and I get my money back...yeah....WHO's SKEERED?:help:
