My apartment is a Victorian Style with tall walls. I want to do the top 1/3 of my Kitchen walls with wallpaper. My question is this: Can I buy wallpaper that goes straight across or do I have to buy full length wallpaper? If I have to buy full length wallpaper, how do I measure to make sure I have enough. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me. Sincerely, karaokepete

Pete,
I'm not sure of your definition of "tall walls"...some people consider 9' ceilings as being tall, but 11-13 would not be surprising either. I believe the best thing you could do is to rough sketch the walls with accurate dimensions and take that information to your dealer.
Wallpaper commonly comes in 20 1/2", 27", 30", and 36" widths. You can also get 17-19" widths, as well as 45-60" widths. Most of the first group of widths are sold in double roll bolts, containing 56-72 square feet per double. Some materials will be sold by the linear yard to order.
The term "full length" doesn't have much meaning to me. Good Luck!;)

You also might try Bradbury & Bradbury- they have friezes that may fit the space you are describing. There are other makers, check wallpaperinstaller.com.
