We recently finished a complete bathroom remodel ourselves which included new wallpaper that is a brown sisal. It looks fantastic, however we were not aware that the color on this was so easily removed with water. Our cleaning crew was wiping the backsplash and you can see light streaks from where they rubbed off the color. Is there anything we can apply to this paper to make it colorfast?

Here is the paper http://www.decoratetoday.com/products/wallpaper/product_detail.asp?ptn=WL302&prid=931310&Scrm=0&stype=&flagback=&si=4

I'm lucky enough to have orded extra so we were able to replace the damaged pieces, however this can be a big problem down the road.

Use waterproof PVA mixed down to 6-1 with water.

Some have had success with Danacolors by Triangle Coatings, I'm sure a google.com search would turn it up.
