how to hang 30" wide untrimmed paper

A clien'ts designer purchased Cowan & Tout wallpaper that is 30" wide and has 2+ inch waste borders on each side but no apparent registration marks.
What is the best method to match the pattern, trim, and install?

I prefer to dry trim the panels, then butt-hang them.

Can you easily determine where the pattern matches?

You can then either dry trim and butt hang as Time says (also my preference), wet trim and butt hang, or rough trim within abou half an inch from the designated match and double cut once on the wall.

Are you familiar with any or all these techniques?

The most accurate way of achieving a match, would be to roll up lengtths individually and cut V shape windows at ends about 1 inch.
When unrolled ready to apply, you will be left with a series of windows where you can match easily and overlap and splice.
