We have a cathedral type ceiling. My husband and I have chosen wallpaper and border but when I began planning I realized I'm not sure how to hang the border in relationship to the ceiling. I am a visual learner and was wondering if anyone can recommend some place to look at different ideas? I was thinking it best to continue the border on a straight line rather than following the rise of the ceiling, but I think it may visually lower the ceiling and defeat the purpose of the cathedral design. I was also thinking of placing the border about 2/3 of the way up the shortest wall....any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Paula,
Instead of putting the border on the wall, why not put it on the ceiling where it meets the wall. The attached picture is border I installed a couple of years ago in a large master bedroom. The paper was very neutral and the border was your basic 9 inch wide with a dark color on the edges. I ran it along the ceiling line, just barely overlaping onto the wallpaper. It looks great and accentuated the cathedral lines.

Here is a shot of the other side of the room. The border line you see across the top of the pictures is where the room opened up into a reading/tv area.
