Wallpapering a garage

You guys helped me out big time recently on my problem with dark paper, so lets see how you do with this one.

I just received a call from one of my best customers. He is really into cars and would like to paper his garage. The garage is not heated and he informs me that it will occasionally, but not often, go below freezing in there (we live in New York). Any advice? Special primers? One type of wallcovering better than another?

Have him look at commercial vinyl. Find a Sherwin-Williams and ask for their "contract vinyl" books.

And hang it with clay, I don't think that will get as brittle as clear.
