    How to find jobs

I recently registered because this site came up severel times in my online search for commercial hanging jobs. I notice jobs get posted here so thought this is a good way to start. I've read postings and though I was never officially schooled in the craft still think you all know what your doing
My question is how deos a person find jobs internationally? Their are not enough in my area to hang fulltime. I'm not married and think this would be a great way to see the country while I'm still (relativly) young.

Any advice as to searching methods or proven effective fee oriented organizations I should try. I found a site that listed hotel renovations and lists contacts for a monthly fee, usure if thats worth it.

    Thanks

I doubt that anyone who charges an upfront fee is a) legitimate or b) has any sure contacts. There was someone who came to this site, or maybe one of the listservs and had jobs on cruise ships.
I think you'd have to make contact with construction companies and/or contractors (or their associations) to get contacts that would allow you to travel & work. Good luck, and if you do find a way to pull this off, let me know- I wanna run away from home.

    You serious Chris?

If you actually want to run away it is easier to get jobs if you can stock them with hangers. The trick is being a one man Paladin ~Have machine. Will Traval.~

I have lead on gig start soon in Tennesee. They are asking if I can do the whole job

Oh, you mean you want to do hotel jobs across America? Bud, there are rotten jobs just waiting for an unlicensed, uninsured out-of-towner in all 50 states.

Good luck. Just remember, education is expensive.

Easy Chris...at least I did'nt have to pay a school to teach me to hang murals

Yes. Commercial hanging is rougher on the body, but I would'nt call the jobs rotten. Good point on lisencsure though. Somthing I will look into for each area to see if its required. Its not in most of New England so never think of that. It is somthing that could come up and bite me. Thanks.
