I am bidding 5000 s.f. of vinyl removal and new install but cannot find any square foot estimating guide for labor on either the removal or install. I just want to quote the labor and add the materials. Can somebody help?? Thank you. Rob

You have approx. 370 lin.yds. of vinyl. Materials differ upon location. Check it out at a store near you. I have been told by a remover that they charge just about the same to remove as I charge to hang. Check the price for installation in your area. Good Luck.
What I am actually looking for is a per square foot price for the removal and a separate square foot price for the prep and hang (labor only). If this varies thats fine. I'm just looking for the range. Thanks for responding.
Rob,
Two estimating guides often used are National Construction Estimator and the Bently of the genre- RS Means. Both have free trials on line.
Try http://www.meansestimating.com/ scroll down to "CostWorks"
or

GCs use these to figure their costs/prices and keep subs honest.
You can usually find Nat Const Est in bookstores or your local library

In New York the square yard price ranges greatly. It starts at $3.00 a square yard and can go for more than $10.00 per square yard. This is for straight walls and idiot vinyl. Tougher materials and jobs are higher.
