Has any one joined the ASID as a Industry Partner?
How do you like it?

I did a couple of years ago. The problem is your not joining as yourself (or your company name) but as the NGPP. everybody in ASID thinks your just a part of NGPP like a Board Member or something not a contractor. It is difficult for them to understand the "deal" we have with ASID. Not too great for networking with Decorators,anyway!

An NGPP member can join ASID for $150 a year (January-December- no prorating) but you are listed as a rep under the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers. It is still a cheap way to belong to a chapter and introduce ASID members to wallcovering. ASID dues are over $300 a year and we have had members who joined under their name switch to save money. Again, it is a foot in the door.
