California Owner/Partner Hello and Introduction to All!!

Hello from Northern CA, the land of bad economy, and over regulations!! My husband and I own and operate Nalevia Wall, a Commercial Provider of Wallcovering, Panels, and other Specialty Wall products. We have stayed a float with some really low bidding, and a wave of bond money projects!! Seeing improvements lately, and hopeful. I am active in local politics, the board of the Sacramento Builders Exchange Region Builders which is a PAC for Commercial Construction in local districts and cities; Have four kids, one on own, two in college and one High School Senior. I love volunteer work for my Parish Church; and really love working with youth!!! I look forward to sharing ideas, trade secrets and hopefully increasing the autonomy and profession of Paperhangers, in the eyes of the industry. I beleive we are professionals in an unique, independent, trade, which warrants us the respect in especially, Commercial Projects, the option to work independently, and not be forced under the scrutiny of the Painters Unions ( especially if you are in CA). Would like to network and group with other CA Contractors who especially are in Public Works projects to perhaps form an interdependent organization for Paperhangers out of the scope of Painters.

    Welcome from St. Louis, MO.
And as for organizing a group for paperhangers, I'm pretty sure that is exactly what the NGPP is.
