In the text box below type a summary of your project. This summary should be between 1000-2500 words. A detailed explanation improves your chance of winning! The summary should include the following:
- Scope of your work (days or man-hours to complete project, time constraints, special equipment required,
number of people on your project, working conditions).
- Prep work – describe stripping, patching, priming, or lining of walls (if applicable).
- Creativity of project – your creative use of wallcovering, your engineering/lay-out details, etc.
- Installation techniques – describe in detail your handling, trimming, pasting, booking, smoothing, & cutting techniques (where applicable).
- Personal comments – why do you think this project was special.
Note that you may use the copy/paste feature from your word processing software to eliminate the need to retype the information.
Entries must include 10-20 color or digital prints or electronic files attached – minimum size 4” x 6” to a maximum size 8” x 10” (larger size suggested). Prints should show the project “before”, “during” and “after” completion. Short captions may accompany photos. For publicity purposes, an electronic file (CD, disk or electronic images) of the pictures should also be included with your entry.

Only jpegs, gifs or tifs will be accepted. Please zip multiple files. Total file size not to exceed 2MB.
Please note that photos submitted electronically will be printed on a color laser printer to size for the judges. If better quality is desired, it is suggested that you check the box below and send prints under separate cover by U.S. Mail or courier to the NGPP National Office (see below) prior to the deadline of June 16, 2008 (postmarked by).

To assure anonymity during the judging process, your essay and photos cannot contain identifying properties such as your name, company name/logo or persons in photos. Essays and photos with identifying information will have information blacked out or removed.
Deadline for receipt of entries: All entries must be postmarked by June 16, 2008 – Any entry postmarked after June 16, 2008 will be entered into the next year's contest. Open to NGPP Paperhanger Members only.
